Using Other Print Services

AirPrint

AirPrint is a printing service offered by Apple Inc. Documents can be sent and printed on the machine from an iOS
device such as an iPad or iPhone and from a macOS/OS X computer without installing a print driver or any special
software.

Enabling the AirPrint Setting
1.
Launch CentreWare Internet Services, and then log in as a machine administrator.
2.
From the left-side menu, click [Network].
3.
Under [Mobile Printing], click [AirPrint™] and select the [Enable] checkbox.
Note
When the connection is by USB, also select the checkbox of [USB Connection].
4.
Configure functions if necessary.
5.
Click [Save].
Computer Settings (macOS/OS X only)
To use AirPrint, this machine must be registered to the computer in advance.
Note
In case of a USB connection, registration occurs automatically if this machine and a computer are connected by a USB
cable, so this setting is not necessary.
1.
On a computer connected to the network, click the [Apple] menu, and then [System Preferences].
2.
Click [Printers & Scanners].
3.
Click [+] (Add).
Note
If a drop-down menu appeared when [+] (Add) was clicked, select [Add Printer or Scanner].
4.
Select this machine from the [Name] list.
Note
Printers on the network are detected automatically and displayed in the [Name] list. If this machine is not displayed,
check the network settings of this machine and the computer.
5.
Click [Use] > [Secure AirPrint] or [AirPrint] > [Add].
Enabling iBeacon for Printers
When printing using AirPrint, you can select this machine if nearby under [Action]>[Print]>[Printer] on the iOS
device.
