Private Charge Print

If the user ID configured by the printer driver and the authentication information registered at the machine or
external authentication server match, data specified by a computer to be printed is stored on this machine and can
be printed by operations of this machine after authentication by IC card or the touch panel display of this machine.
Unlike Secure Print, all print jobs are stored on this machine.

Configuring Private Charge Print Settings

Control Panel Settings
Private Charge Print can be used after logging in to machine administrator mode when one of the following items is
configured for [Device] > [Authentication / Accounting] > [Authentication / Security Settings] > [Authentication].

[Charge / Private Print Settings] > [Receive Control] is [Save as Private Charge Print Job].

When [Login Type] is [Log In to Remote Accounts], and [Charge / Private Print Settings] > [Receive Control] is
[According to Print Accounting], and [Charge / Private Print Settings] > [Receive Control] > [Job Login Success] is
[Save as Private Charge Print Job].

[Charge / Private Print Settings] > [Receive Control] is [Save as Private Charge Print Job], and [Non-PJL Command
Job(s)] > [Use When Available] is [Save as Private Charge Print Job].
Configuring Print Driver Settings
To use Private Charge Print, a user ID must be specified on the print driver properties dialog box. Printing is not
possible if the user ID does not match the verification information.

Printing with Private Charge Print

Select and print a store document.
1.
Log in to the machine as an authenticated user.
2.
At the Home screen, tap [Jobs].
3.
At the bottom of the screen, tap [Private Charge Print].
4.
Tap the document to be printed to select the checkbox.

Configure a user ID in the printer driver and specify printing.
Documents are stored in the machine by user ID.
Authenticate at the machine using an IC card or the touch panel display, choose a user ID,
and then select the print job.
