Note

The envelope tray and standard Tray 1 cannot be installed the same time.
When using the Envelope Tray, log in as the administrator, select [Tray 1 Configuration]>[Coupled as Envelope Feeder]
and check the [Envelope Feeder] box on the [Paper Tray Settings]>[Tray 1] screen. For more information, refer to "[Tray 1
Configuration]" (P.113) and "Changing the Paper Settings" (P.58).
1.
Pull out the envelope tray until it stops.
2.
Remove any remaining paper in the tray.
3.
While pinching the two paper guides, move them to the desired paper size.
4.
Load the paper with the print side facing up and its leading edge aligned with the left side of the paper tray.
Envelopes
Important
 Do not load paper above the maximum fill line (the position "MAX"). It may cause paper jams or a malfunction.

Do not place any paper or objects in the empty space on the right side of the envelope tray. It may cause paper jams.
5.
Push the tray in gently.
Important
 When inserting the paper tray, push it slowly. Forcibly pushing the tray in may cause a malfunction.
6.
Configure the paper size and paper type.
