Comments
The 19" mounting brackets (849011804) must be
ordered separately and are required to install the
Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-60 in a 19" bayframe.
If the Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-60 shelf is to be
installed above or below existing equipment that
does not have a heat baffle, then a heat baffle
(848862181) must be installed between the shelf
and the existing equipment. If there is space left in
the bayframe above the last Alcatel-Lucent 1850
TSS-60 shelf installed a heat baffle must be
installed above the shelf to prevent accidental
damage to the power cables at the top of the shelf.
A screwdriver(s) with the appropriate head(s) is
(are) required for securing the mounting screws,
repositioning the mounting brackets, installing the
interfacing cables, and for setting the circuit
breakers to the OFF position.
A wrist strap must be worn when handling circuit
packs. Use the electrostatic discharge (ESD) jack
provided on the shelf.
The voltmeter must be capable of measuring DC
voltage in the 40 to 60 volt range. The use of the
voltmeter is optional since the shelf will alarm or
shut down if the proper voltage is not supplied.
