Perform the following steps for all Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-60 shelf function unit or
growth slots containing LNW45 (OC3) or LNW55 (with 12 OC-3PTMs) OLIU circuit
packs.
Note:
main slots to operate in a Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-60 shelf.

on the OLIU, make the connections at the LGX equipment in order to verify correct
installation and labeling of the fibers.

associated fibers, then move PTMs to ports that are fibered.

Beginning from the Top (G) of the Alcatel-Lucent 1850 TSS-60 shelf, locate the first
function unit slot position that contains an LNW45 or LNW55 circuit pack.

Insert a 15-dB LC-type LBO into the top IN connector (port 1) of the first PTM equipped.
