Disassembling and assembling rear spring strut

Before loosening the fastening nut,
tension coil spring with the spring
clamp.
Support at the piston rod with an
open−ended wrench (7 mm) when
loosening the nut.
Remove complete assembly (mount
with intermediate part No. 9 and
spring plate No. 10).
Installation
Use new fastening nut. Tighten to 58
Nm (43 ftlb.). First position
spring−strut mount 3.
Mount in correct position.
No. 2 and No. 6 are identical parts.
The mounts for the right and left
sides are identical parts.
Position the mount before tightening
the fastening nut No. 1.
Observe allocation.
Join in correct position with spring
