Connecting by analog modem
You can connect a PC/laptop to the Avaya CMC1 Media Gateway through a
modem.

Follow these steps to connect to the Avaya CMC1 Media Gateway through a
modem.
1. Connect the computer to the modem.
2. Connect an analog telephone line to the left most analog-line port on the
modem.
