Add IP Solutions
Connect the Monitor, Keyboard, and Mouse
1. Attach a VGA monitor to the VGA connector of the TN802 IP Interface
external cable assembly.
2. Attach the keyboard to the KEYBOARD connector of the external cable
assembly.
3. Attach the mouse to the MOUSE connector of the external cable assembly.
4. Plug the monitor into an AC power receptacle and turn it on.
5. If upgrading locally, reboot Windows NT by pressing the recessed reset
button on the faceplate (see
Interface until the LCD shows a flashing MSHUT *. When the flashing stops
and the asterisk disappears (about 2 min), it is safe to remove the circuit
pack.
6. After the TN802B is shut down, reseat the circuit pack to restart the
system.

Upgrading IP trunks to H.323 trunks
If there are existing IP trunk connections that you want to upgrade to H.323 trunk
connections, do the following steps. Otherwise, go to

To upgrade an existing IP trunk to an H.323 trunk requires first getting IP
information from the existing TN802 before upgrading the TN802 to TN802B.
1. Click on My Computer > Control Panel > Network.
2. Click the Protocols tab.
3. Select TCP/IP Protocol from the list.
4. Click the Properties option in the Network window. Write down the IP
address, subnet address, and gateway address shown for adaptor [2] (see
example below).
