P6 Enable or disable user ID (On, Off)

Example Use the login function when operating the
recorder directly or via communication. When
logged in, automatically log out if there is no
user activity for 5 minutes. The screen can be
changed even when logged out.

• You cannot use this command to configure settings
while recording is in progress.
• You cannot use this command to configure settings
while computation is in progress.
• You cannot use this command to configure settings
when logged in as a user (when the user level is
User).
• p1 cannot be set to Operate when the advanced
security function (/AS) is enabled.
• p5 and p6 are valid when the advanced security
function (/AS) is enabled.

Password Management (/AS)
Sets the password management.
Syntax

p1 Enable disable password management
(On, Off)
p2 Root user password (between 6 and 20
characters, ASCII)

Example Enable password management. Set the root

Password to Unlock Operation [GX/GP]
Sets the password that is used to release the operation
lock.

p1 Password (up to 20 characters, UTF-8)

The password is displayed using asterisks.
