To display summary information about IPv4 multicast routes, use the show ip mroute summary
command.

This example shows how to display summary information about IPv4 multicast routes:

Total number of (S,G) routes: 0
Total number of (*,G-prefix) routes: 1

show ip mroute summary [count | software-forwarded] [vrf {vrf-name | all}]
show ip mroute [group] summary [software-forwarded] [vrf {vrf-name | all}]
(Optional) Displays only route counts.
(Optional) Displays software-switched route counts only.
(Optional) Applies to a virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) instance.
VRF name. The name can be a maximum of 32 alphanumeric characters and is case
sensitive.
Specifies all VRFs.
(Optional) Specifies a group address for a route.
