Syntax
request aps-id {protect | working}

Description
This command requests a manual switch to protection or working circuit.
Parameters
aps-id — This option clears a specific APS on un-bundled SONET/SDH ports.
protect — This command requests a manual switch to a port that is acting as the protection circuit for the
APS group.
working — This command requests a manual switch to a port that is acting as the working circuit for this
APS group.

port-id — Specifies the physical port ID.
