mc-ring
Syntax [no] mc-ring
Context config>redundancy>mc>peer
config>redundancy>multi-chassis>peer>sync
Description This command enables the context to configure the multi-chassis ring parameters.
ring
Syntax ring sync-tag [create]
no ring sync-tag
Context config>redundancy>mc>peer>mcr
Description
This command configures a multi-chassis ring.
Parameters Values
Specifies a synchronization tag to be used while synchronizing this port with the multi-chassis peer.
create — Keyword used to create the multi-chassis peer ring instance. The create keyword requirement can
be enabled/disabled in the environment>create context.
in-band-control-path
Syntax in-band-control-path
Context config>redundancy>mc>peer>mcr>ring
Description
This command enables the context to configure multi-chassis ring inband control path parameters.
dst-ip
Syntax dst-ip ip-address
no dst-ip
Context config>redundancy>mc>peer>mcr>ring>in-band-control-path
config>redundancy>mc>peer>mcr>node>cv
Description
This command specifies the destination IP address used in the inband control connection. If the address is
not configured, the ring cannot become operational.
