Preparing for WWN card replacement

About this task
If the WWN cards require replacement, complete the following steps. Follow
electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions.
Procedure
1. Open a Telnet session to the device and log in to the active CP blade as admin.
2. Verify that you are logged in to the active CP blade. Run the haShow command
3. Run the supportSave command on the active CP blade to capture all settings.
4. Run the following commands on the device before replacing the cards so that

programmed after WWN replacement.

v chassisshow (look at the WWN and chassis information at the bottom)
v ficonshow switchrnid (FICON/mainframe environments only)
v configupload -all
v configupload -vf
The factory serial number and the sequence number in the following output
from the chassisShow command should match. In the ficonshow switchrnid
output, a sequence number indicates the logical switch number, if virtual
fabrics is enabled:
