Removing Protective Cover From San512B-6; Caution - IBM SAN512B-6 Installation, Service And User Manual

Remove this cover by removing the Phillips screws securing it to the mounting
bracket on each side of the chassis.

Note: Do not attempt to lift or support the chassis by the protective cover.

CAUTION:

You must remove the protective cover on the port side of the chassis
before applying power to the chassis. The chassis can overheat if air
vents are blocked with this cover.
