Installing a chassis door

About this task
Complete the following steps to install the door on the port side of the chassis.
Before installing the door, use step 1 to remove the protective cover if it is attached
over the air vents at the top of the chassis. If the protective cover has been
removed, skip to step 2 to install the door.
Procedure
1. Unfasten the protective cover from the chassis mounting bracket by removing

the two 6-32 X 3/8 in. panhead Phillips screws securing the cover to the
bracket using a Phillips screwdriver. One screw is located above the bracket
and one beneath the bracket. You do not need to remove the mounting bracket
(1 in following illustration) from the chassis. Save the cover and other parts for
future installation.
