FUNCTION
Monitor speaker during
communication (tx and rx)
Bit 1: 0, Bit 0: 0 = Disabled
0-1
Bit 1: 0, Bit 0: 1 = Up to Phase B
Bit 1: 1, Bit 0: 0 = All the time
Bit 1: 1, Bit 0: 1 = Reserved
COMMENTS
If the PABX does not support V.8/V.34 protocol
procedure, set this bit to "1" to disable V.8.
Example: If "0" is the PSTN access code, set bit 0 to 1.
When the machine detects "0" as the first dialed number,
it automatically disables V.8 protocol. (Alternatively, if
"3" is the PSTN access code, set bit 3 to 1.)
COMMENTS
Refer to communication switch 1B.
Example: If "8" is the PSTN access code, set bit 0 to 1.
When the machine detects "8" as the first dialed number,
it automatically disables V.8 protocol. (If "9" is the PSTN
access code, use bit 1.)
Do not change the settings.
COMMENTS
(0, 0): The monitor speaker is disabled all through the
communication.
(0, 1): The monitor speaker is on up to phase B in the T.
30 protocol.
(1, 0): Used for testing. The monitor speaker is on all
through the communication. Make sure that you reset
these bits after testing.
