Plug the module into one of the suitable slots.
Check the shielding of the FM 453 positioning module:
To ensure proper shielding, the module must be screwed down firmly
on the rack.
The shielding for shielded lines must be connected to the shielding termi-
nal element.
The shielding for the setpoint cable should not be grounded on the drive-
unit end.
Check the start/stop hardware limit switches. The hardware limit switch con-
nections must be connected to the power section. The start/stop hardware
limit switches should not be connected to the digital inputs.
Make sure the FM 453 positioning module setup is consistent with the para-
meterization. Check in particular that:
The attached encoder matches the machine data.
The wiring of the digital I/O modules matches the machine data.
