Setpoint Processing
Overview
Setpoint processing in the FM 453 is performed via the interpolation, servo
position control or stepper motor control, actuating signal driver and drive
actuation. Either the servo position control or stepper motor control function
is active depending on the control mode (MD61). Figure 9-6 gives an over-
view of the interaction of the functions. The separate functions are described
in detail with reference to the relevant machine data in the following sec-
tions.
