DIAGNOSTIC CHART
TOYOTA hand–held tester
Connect the TOYOTA hand–held tester and check
operation of fuel pressure control VSV.
Check fuel pressure control VSV.
Check for open and short in harness and connector
between EFI main relay and ECM.
Check and replace ECM.
OBDII scan tool (excluding TOYOTA hand–held tester)
Check fuel pressure control VSV.
Check voltage between terminal FPU and body
ground.
Check fuel pressure regulator.
Check and replace ECM.
1MZ–FE ENGINE – CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Check and repair fuel pressure regulator.
Replace fuel pressure control VSV.
Repair or replace harness or connector.
Replace fuel pressure control VSV.
Check and repair harness or connector.
Repair or replace.
