Refer to crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction on page EG2–503.

Deviation in crankshaft position sensor signal and
camshaft position sensor signal.

DIAGNOSTIC CHART
Check valve timing (Check for loose and jumping
teeth of timing belt) (See page EG2–52).
Check and replace ECM (See page IN–36).

Mechanical system malfunction.
(Skipping teeth of timing belt, belt stretched.)
