OBDII scan tool (excluding TOYOTA hand–held tester)
Check fuel pump operation (See page EG2–580, step
Check for ECM power source circuit (See page EG2–565).
Check fuel pump (See page EG2–234).
Check for open in harness and connector
between terminal FP of DLC1 and fuel pump,
fuel pump and body ground (See page IN–31).
Check circuit opening relay.
1MZ–FE ENGINE – CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Go to step
Repair or replace.
Repair or replace fuel pump.
(1) Remove glove compartment
(See page EG2–309).
(2) Remove circuit opening relay from R/B No.6.
Check continuity between terminals of circuit
opening relay shown below.
Terminals 1 and 2
Terminals 3 and 6
(1) Apply battery voltage between terminals 3
and 6.
(2) Check continuity between terminals 1 and 2.
Terminals 1 and 2
Replace circuit opening relay.
