Disconnect internal harness.

Connect positive lead frorn ohmmeter to TCC tester jack and
negative lead at purple wire of TCC connector. Resistance
reading should be less than 0.5 ohms.
Next, connect positive lead from ohmmeter to tester VPWR jack

and negative lead at black wire of TCC connector.

Is resistance less than 0.5 ohms?

Go to step

Replace internal harness. Go to step

Check for continuity between BAT- (engine ground) and

Replace internal harness. Go to step

Connection should show infinite resistance (no continuity)
Is there continuity?
Check solenoid resistance by connecting ohmmeter at solenoid
terminals. Measure and record resistance for TCC solenoid.

Resistance reading for TCC solenoid is 8.9 to

ohms.

Is resistance withln specification?
Go to step 13.
Replace TCC solenoid.
Check for continuity between BAT- (engine ground) and terminal
I Replace TCC solenoid
( + I - ) with ohmmeter.
Connection should show gnfinite resistance (no continuity)
