INTAKE AIR SYSTEM
ACCELERATOR CABLE AND PElDAL
Removal I Inspection I Installation

1. Remove in the order shown in
the
figure.
2. lnspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary
3.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Accelerator Cable
Inspection / Adjustment
1. Verify that the throttle valve is fully closed.
2.
lnspect the cable for restrictions.
3. Depress the accelerator pedal fully'and verify that the
throttle valve is at wide open throttle.
4. If not as specified, replace the accelerator cable.
Note
The accelerator cable is not adjustable.
