Router Advertise Setting
Such feature is used to bring important information to the
client.
Autonomous(A-bit) – IPv6 address. If it is checked,
the client can acquire the prefix coming from the RA
packets to generate full IPv6 address.
Router Advertise DNS – If it is checked, the RA
packets will bring the information of DNS server.
MTU – It means Maximum Transmission Unit. "0"
means MTU information will not be sent out.
Hop Limit – The amount of the router(s) that the RA
packets will pass through.
Min/Max Interval Time (sec) – For the time of RA
packets sent out is not fixed, you have to configure the
minimum interval time and the maximum interval time.
Default Lifetime(sec) – After the client received the
RA packets, Vigor2760 can be treated as the default
router. This option is used to set the duration time for
Vigor2760 as the default router. "0" means Vigor2760
will not be treated as the default router.
Default Preference – After the client received the RA
packets, the router (Vigor2760) will be treated as the
default router based on the priority configured here.
Note: In default, there is no item displayed here.
Port Interface - All the Ethernet Port Members (from port1
to port4) and WLAN SSIDs are dedicated to the default
LAN profile. Before configuring the settings for new LAN
profiles, please reconfigure the default LAN profile (named
LAN) by entering Ethernet tab located in the Network >>
LAN page) to release some port members first. Otherwise,
you may not be able to complete the profile configurations
for the new interface.
Note that the LAN Port (port1 to port4) selected here can not
be used in other profiles.
