channel is a logical connection between two end devices on
the network.
Encapsulation - Choose a proper type for this channel. The
types will be different according to the protocol setting that
you choose.
IP Version - The type of the IP address is determined by the
option selected here.
Both – You have to type IP address based on IPv4
and IPv6 address(es) at the same time.
IPv4 – You have to type IP address based on
IPv4.
IPv6 – You have to type IP address based on
IPv6.
Protocol - The following protocols are available when
Both/ADSL is chosen as Profile Type.
The following protocols are available when VDSL2 is
chosen as Profile Type.
When PPPoE is selected under Both / ADSL / VDSL2
Username - Type in the username provided by ISP in this
field.
Password - Type in the password provided by ISP in this
field.
Confirm Password - Type in the password again for
confirmation.
PPP Authentication - Select PAP only or PAP or CHAP
for PPP.
MTU - It means Max Transmit Unit for packet. The default
setting will be 1492.
PPPoE Pass-through Enable- The router offers PPPoE
dial-up connection. Besides, you also can establish the
PPPoE connection directly from local clients to your ISP via
the Vigor router. Thus, the PC can access Internet through
such direction. Check the box to enable such function.
Pass-through Interface – Specify an interface.
VLAN Encapsulation - Enable the function of VLAN with
