Log Archiving Administration
This section explains how to set the log archiving function, which saves the logs
retained on an XSCF Unit. The archive host, the archive directory, enable/disable for
the log archiving and so on are set.
Note – Logs archived on the log host should be rotated at regular intervals to avoid
loss of log information. For example, logadm(1M) can be used to configure log
rotation on systems that run the Solaris OS.
