1.6.3 Download Procedure

a. Connecting to the option
1) Turn off the copier.
2) Detach the ADF or Finisher PCB cover.
3) Insert cable B (7pin) into ADF controller PCB (J9) or Finisher controller PCB (J12).
4) Connect the RS-232C cable to the PCB and the RS-232C connector of the PC. The fer-
rite core of the cable is positioned on the PC side.
5) Turn on the copier.
The power indicating LED on the PCB light.
