2 Scanner Drive System

2.1 Outline

The following parts are associated with the scanner drive system.

[1] Scanner Motor (M3) Control Signal
Used to turn on/off the motor and to control its direction and speed of rotation.
[2] Scanner HP Sensor (PS39) Detection Signal
Used to make sure that the No. 1 mirror base is at home position.
[3] Copyboard Cover Sensor (PS40) Detection Signal
Used to detect the state (open or close) of the copyboard cover.
[4] Reader controller PCB
[5] No.1 mirror base
[6] Scanner motor
[7] Scanner HP sensor
[8] Copyboard cover sensor
[9] Light-blocking plate
[10] No.2 mirror base
