Be sure to mount the front cover
so that gap A between the front
cover [1] and the front upper
cover [2] is 3 ±1 mm.
If you operate the deck without
matching the position of the pa-
per level indicator and the deck
lifter, the drive mechanism of
the paper level indicator can be-
come damaged. If you have
moved the paper level indicator
drive belt behind the front cover
or the deck lifter, be sure to per-
form the following two tasks:
Adjusting the Paper Level Indicator
1) Move the drive belt [2] of the paper
level indicator behind the front cover
[1] by hand so that the white area inside
the window [3] increases, i.e., in the di-
rection for the arrow [4]; move it until a
little resistance is felt.
