5.1.1 Removing the Pickup Cover
1) Open the pickup cover [1].
2) Open the vertical path assembly [2], and
disconnect the connector [3].
3) With the vertical path assembly [1]
open, shift the rear support shaft [2] to
the right and the front support shaft [3]
to the rear to detach the vertical path as-
sembly.
4) Remove the cable [2] from the front
support shaft [1].
5) Shift down the pickup cover [3], and
detach it to the right.
