PAIR (AIR SUPPLY) SYSTEM AND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM
INSPECTION

PAIR HOSES

• Remove the fuel tank. (5-2)
• Inspect the PAIR hoses 1 for wear or damage. If it is worn or
damaged, replace the PAIR hoses 1 with a new one.

PAIR REED VALVE

• Remove the left fuel tank cover. (8-5)
• Remove the PAIR reed valve cover 1 and PAIR read valve
2.
• Inspect the reed valve for the carbon deposit. If the carbon
deposit is found in the PAIR reed valve, replace the PAIR
reed valve with a new one.
• Install the PAIR reed valve and PAIR reed valve cover.

• Apply thread lock to the bolts 1 and tighten to the specified
torque.
 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER "1322"
 PAIR reed valve cover bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lbf-ft)
