• Install the gearshift shaft assembly 7 with the washer 8.
NOTE:
Pinch the gearshift arm stopper 9 with return spring ends D.
• Install the washer 0 and new snap ring A.
 09900-06107: Snap ring pliers (Open type)
OIL PUMP
• When install the oil pump 1, fit the convex part A of the oil
pump shaft onto the concave part B of the water pump shaft.
• Apply thread lock to the oil pump mounting bolts 2 and
tighten them to the specified torque.
 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER "1322"
 Oil pump mounting bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lbf-ft)
• Install the pin 3.
NOTE:
Be careful not to drop the pin 3 into the crankcase.
• Install the thrust washer 4.
