• Remove the front fork cap bolt 8.

Take care so that the cap bolt does not spring out by
the force of the spring.
• Remove the spacer A, washer B and fork spring C.
• Invert the front fork and stroke it several times to drain out fork
oil.
• Hold the front fork in the inverted position for a few minutes to
allow the fork oil to fully drain.
• Remove the damper rod bolt D using the wrench and special
tools.

• Remove the rebound spring E.
