3-74 ENGINE
• After the crankshaft journal bolts and crankcase bolts have
been tightened, check if the crankshaft rotates smoothly.
• Also check that the driveshaft and countershaft rotate
smoothly.
OIL PRESSURE REGULATOR
• Fit a new gasket washer 1 to the oil pressure regulator 2.
• Apply thread lock to the oil pressure regulator and tighten it to
the specified torque.
 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER "1322"
 Oil pressure regulator: 28 N·m (2.8 kgf-m, 20.0 lbf-ft)
OIL STRAINER
• Apply grease to the new O-ring 1.
 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
• Install the oil strainer 2.
• Apply thread lock to the oil strainer bolts 3 and tighten them
to the specified torque.
 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER "1322"
 Oil strainer bolt: 10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lbf-ft)
