9-16 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Fit the washer 1 to the housing end correctly as shown in the
figure.
• Fit the depression A of the starter motor case to the groove
B of the housing end (outside).
• Align the match mark on the starter motor case with the match
mark on the housing end (inside).
• Apply grease to the new O-ring 2.
 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
• Tighten the starter motor mounting bolt 3 with the battery -
lead wire 4. (10-16)
 Starter motor mounting bolt:
• Tighten the starter motor lead wire bolt 5 to the specified
torque. (10-16)
 Starter motor lead wire bolt:
or equivalent
10 N·m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.0 lbf-ft)
2.7 N·m (0.27 kgf-m, 2.0 lbf-ft)
