Removing a Hard Drive

This section covers the removal and installation of a hard drive.
Note: It is recommended that two people be available for some of the hard drive
replacement steps.
Follow these steps to remove a hard drive:
1.
Remove the chassis cover and the front panel as described in "Opening the Chassis"
on page 21.
2. Remove the EMI filler panel from in front of the hard drive by pulling it straight
away from the chassis.
