Status Messages And Error Messages
Error Code 11 — Paper Jam at Drum (B)
1. If there is paper remaining in the separator section (near sensor EPS3),
remove it.
2. Ensure that the EPS3 lever is in the up position.
3. Ensure that the transfer unit is properly installed.
4. Check the EPS3 sensor.
a. Put the positive lead of the digital multimeter on pin 2 of CN26 on the
b. When the EPS3 lever is down, measure the voltage; 5V is normal.
c. When the EPS3 lever is up, measure the voltage; 0V is normal.
If the sensor is normal and the fault still occurs, replace the MC board.
Otherwise, replace the EPS3 sensor after checking the harness.
NOTE: You can lower the transport unit and move the sensor lever back and

1. If there is paper remaining in the fuser section (near sensor EPS4),
remove it.
2. Ensure that the EPS4 lever is in the up position.
3. Ensure that the transfer unit is properly installed.
4. Check the EPS4 sensor.
a. Put the positive lead of the digital multimeter on pin 5 of CN26 on the

c. When the EPS4 lever is up, measure the voltage; 0V is normal.
If the sensor is normal and the fault still occurs, replace the MC board.
