Transfer Assembly

1. Check that the transfer charger is in the down position, then lower the

transport unit by turning the green lever on the transport unit to the left

(see steps 9 and 10 on page I–255).

2. Pull the transfer assembly out until it stops.

3. Remove the screws (6) that secure the right and left slide rails to the

4. Lift the assembly from the rails and remove it.

Transport belt

Vacuum fan (VAF)

Paper exit sensor 3 (EPS3)

Paper exit sensor 4 (EPS4)
