Error Code 6F — Cut-sheet Paper Empty
CHECKLIST: UPPER LEVEL PAPER EMPTY SENSOR (PES1)
LOWER LEVEL PAPER EMPTY SENSOR (PES2)
SENSOR HARNESS
FEEDER BOARD
CUT SHEET FEEDER
1. Verify that there is paper in the paper cassettes.
If the problem persists, go to step 2.
2. Check the upper level paper empty sensor (PES1) and the lower level
paper empty sensor (PES2). Turn off power to the printer. Check the
continuity of the harness wiring between the feeder board and the
sensors.
If the harness continuity is OK, go to step 3.
3. Replace the feeder board.
If the problem persists, replace the cut sheet feeder.
Error Code 78 — Main Charger High Voltage Error
CHECKLIST:
1. Check the seating of the main charger.
Check that the main charger is seated properly. If it is, go to step 2.
2. Check the main charger.
Confirm that the wire or grid on the main charger is not distorted or
broken. If there is distortion or damage, replace the wire or the main
charger.
3. Check the harness of the main charger.
Confirm that the high voltage harness connector +HV1 is connected
properly. If it is OK, go to step 4.
4. Replace the high-voltage power supply.
If the error persists, go to step 5.
5. Replace the MC board.
