Error Code 54 — Stacker Interlock Fail
1. Check the stacker safety sensors, SS1 and SS2.
a. Press upward lightly on SS1 and SS1, and verify that they are

board and the stacker safety sensors, SS1 and SS2.
If the harness continuity is OK, go to step 3.
3. Replace the stacker controller board.
If the problem persists, replace the power paper stacker.
Error Code 55 — Stacker Fail
1. Clear any paper jam in the stacker.
2. Ensure that the paper is folding correctly as it stacks on the elevator table.
If the problem persists, go to step 3.
3. Check the paper jam sensor, PPS. Turn off power to the printer. Check
the continuity of the harness wiring between the stacker controller board
and PPS.
If the harness continuity is OK, go to step 4.
4. Replace the stacker controller board.
If the problem persists, replace the power paper stacker.
