Replacement Procedures

Overview

This chapter describes how to remove and install printer components.
Installation is usually in the reverse order of the removal procedures. Always
return screws to their original positions, because the type of screw can vary
with position. Designations such as "Screw (3)" show the number of a
particular type of screw.
WARNING
For safety, always disconnect the power supply plug before removing
parts. Also, never operate the printer with parts removed, except when
performing the inspections and adjustments specified in this manual.
