Other Print Engine Adjustments
IMPORTANT
If the tractor shaft is not aligned properly, the tractor holes in the fanfold
paper may be damaged when the paper "back-feeds."
NOTE: To make the adjustment, you will need two tractor alignment tools
1. Power off the printer.
2. Remove the left rear cover (see page I–239).
3. Unload the paper.
4. Loosen the screws that hold the tractor support shaft (one each on the left
and right side frames).
5. Remove the E-ring securing the left tractor on the tractor support shaft.

Tractor Drive

The tractor is driven by the tractor motor. The belts are critical, for timing. Be
sure to mark the pulleys for future realignment.
