1. For error numbers 0C and 0D, verify that the transfer platform is completely seated.
2. For error number 2A: This is a status message only. No operator action is required to clear
this message.
3. The Front Cover Open error can occur when either the Upper Doors or the Paper Output Door
is open. If the Upper Doors are closed, push the Paper Output Door in to release it to its down
position.

Error Message Troubleshooting Procedures

Troubleshooting procedures follow for specific error codes. As of this printing,
procedures are given for error codes 01 through 7D.
Error Code 01 — Front Cover Open
1. Ensure that the front cover is properly closed. If necessary, close the
cover and press the CLEAR key to clear the fault. If the fault still exists, go
to Step 2.
2. Check the mechanical alignment of the front cover sensor. Verify the
proper alignment of the front cover interlock switch and its associated
magnet. If the alignment is OK, go to Step 3.
3. Check the front cover interlock switch (Reed switch / CIL).
a. Power off the printer at the breaker, and unplug the power cord from

c. Disconnect harness connector PB-CN6 from the DC Power Supply
