Confirming MC Board Operation
Confirming MC Board Operation
Confirming the Developing Bias Voltage Control Circuit
1. Using the engine checker, drive the developing bias. The menu path is
BASIC MENU, DEVICE CHECK, OUTPUT SIGNAL, H.V.P.S., DEV.
BIAS, START.
2. Put the positive lead of the digital multimeter on TP31 on the MC board,
and the negative lead on TP30 (power supply ground) on the MC board.
3. Use the engine checker to set the device check mode for the rotary
switch. The menu path is BASIC MENU, DEVICE CHECK, INPUT
SIGNAL, SWITCH, ROTARY SWITCH.
4. The multimeter should display the following voltage readings when you
change the values of the rotary switch on the MC board (SW1). If the
voltages are not normal, replace the MC board.
