Error Code 56 — Stacker Full
CHECKLIST:
1. Remove the stacked paper from the stacker. Press the AUTO key on the
stacker.
If the problem persists, go to step 2.
2. Check the stacker full sensor, SFS. Turn off power to the printer. Check
the continuity of the harness wiring between the stacker controller board
and SFS.
If the harness continuity is OK, go to step 3.
3. Replace the stacker controller board.
If the problem persists, replace the power paper stacker.
Error Code 57 — Stacker Not Ready
Error Code 58 — Stacker Not Auto Mode
CHECKLIST:
1. Press the AUTO key on the stacker.
If the problem persists, go to step 2.
2. Check the stacker interface harness connectors.
a. Verify that the harness connector is connected properly to MC board
connector CN4, the stacker connector on the MC board.
b. Verify that the harness connector is connected properly to power
supply board connector CN13, the stacker connector on the printer
DC power supply.
c. Verify that the harness connectors are connected properly to
connectors J1 and J2 on the stacker controller board.
If the connectors are OK, go to step 3.
3. Turn off power to the printer and check the continuity of the stacker
harness wiring between the stacker and the rest of the printer.
