sntp

This command enables the NTP client on the device. The no version of the
command does not require parameters and resets the address of the NTP
server, if any.
Syntax
sntp <server>
server - The IP address or hostname of a time server (NTP or SNTP).
Default Setting
None
Command Mode
Global Configuration
Command Usage
The time acquired from time servers is used to record accurate dates and
times for log events. Without SNTP, the access point only records the time
starting from the factory default set at the last bootup (i.e., 00:14:00,
January 1, 1970). When SNTP client mode is enabled, the sntp server
command specifies the time servers from which the access point polls for
time updates. The access point will poll the time servers in the order
specified until a response is received.
