Initializing IP Endpoint configurations

If you have performed a new installation of Avaya IP Agent for an IP Endpoint
configuration, the Configuration Wizard is displayed when you first start Avaya IP Agent.
The Configuration Wizard prompts you to enter the necessary configuration information
for registering with an Avaya communication server and for Voice-over-IP audio
performance.

Steps

To configure your installation of Avaya IP Agent to register with an Avaya communication
server:
1. Start Avaya IP Agent.
Avaya IP Agent starts the Configuration Wizard automatically.
2. Select the Next button.
Avaya IP Agent displays the next window of the Configuration Wizard.
3. Select the appropriate option:
Log into Avaya call server - Select this option for Road Warrior, Telecommuter,

and Avaya Telephone configurations.
If you are using the Avaya Telephone configuration, place a check mark in the
Control an Avaya telephone check box.
Log into Avaya IP Telephone - Select this option for IP Telephone configurations.
●
Do not select this option if you will be using the Avaya Telephone-IP configuration.
