■ Priority watch types
Prorty watch checks for sgnals on a VFO frequency every
5 sec. whle operatng n memory mode. The transcever has
2 prorty watch types to sut your needs. You can also trans-
mt on the VFO frequency whle the prorty watch operates.
The watch resumes accordng to the selected scan resume
condton. See prevous page for detals.
☞ NOTES: If the pocket beep functon s actvated, the trans-
cever automatcally selects the tone squelch functon
when prorty watch starts.

D Operating from the application
q Select VFO mode; then, set an operatng frequency.
w Set the watch channel(s).
For memory channel watch:
Select the desred memory channel.
For call channel watch:
Select the desred call channel by clckng [CALL], then
clck (left or rght) on the [DIAL].
e Clck [PRIO] to start the watch.
• "PRIO" appears durng prorty watch.
• The transcever checks the memory or call channel every 5 sec.
• The watch resumes accordng to the selected scan resume con-
dton. (p. 89)
• Whle the watch s pausng, clckng the [PRIO] resumes the
watch manually.
Appears during priority watch.
