DATA OPERATION
D Setting from the RC-24
q Push [MODE] to select DD (Data) mode.
• "DD" appears.
w Set the desred frequency.
e Push [RP•4] several tmes to select "RPS," when connect-
ng the PC through repeater/s.
• "RPS" dsplayed brefly.
r Push [CS• •1] to enter call sgn select mode, then ro-
tate [DIAL] to select the desred staton call sgn.
• Refer to the pages 42 to 44 for call sgn settng when the de-
sred call sgn s not programmed.
For direct data transferring between ID-1s, go to step
i.
t Push [CS• •1] one more tme to select "RPT1," then
rotate [DIAL] to select the desred near-by repeater call
sgn, f desred.
• Refer to the pages 42 to 44 for call sgn settng when the de-
sred call sgn s not programmed.
y Push [CS• •1] one more tme to select "RPT2," then
rotate [DIAL] to select the gateway repeater call sgn, f
desred.
u Push [ ] for 0.5 sec. to enable the gateway connecton,
when the repeater requre the "G" settng.
• "G" appears besde the call sgn.
NOTE: When the near-by repeater s gateway repeater,
push [ ] for 0.5 sec. (f necessary) after the call sgn set-
tng nto "RPT1" n step t and skp step y.
i Push [CS• •1] once (or twce) to ext call sgn select
mode.

o Push [TXnh• ] to release transmsson nhbt.

• Starts accessng to the desred PC (va repeater/s).
!0 Open "Network Computers."
• The shared folder of the desred staton appears.
• It may takes a mnutes untl the shared folder appears accord-
ng to the condtons, or PC performance.
!1 Open the shared folder, then drag and drop the desred
file to transferrng.
!2 Push [TXnh• ] agan to dsconnect (nhbt the trans-
msson) from the gateway repeater.
