■ COM port confirmation
After the drver nstallaton, confirm the drver avalablty and
the port number are recommended.
In ths secton, screen shots of Wndows XP are used for n-
structon example. However, the nstructons are smlar to
another operatng systems, Wndows 98, Me and 2000.
q Boot up the Wndows.
w Select the "Control Panel" n the Start menu.
• Control panel appears as shown n the next step below.
e Clck the "Performance and Mantenance."
• Performance and Mantenance menu appears.
r Clck the "System," then clck the "Hardware" tab n the ds-
played System Propertes screen.
